Anoro Ellipta is a combination inhaler used to prevent airflow obstruction and reduce flare ups in adults with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Anoro Ellipta is only for people with COPD and shouldn’t be used to treat asthma. This inhaler combines the medications umeclidinium and vilanterol which both work by relaxing the muscles in the airways which improves breathing. This medication should be used regularly to be effective and is not a quick relief inhaler.
